Q: |
I entered the reg/code, but it doesn't unlock the rest of the program, says "invalid regcode, Please contact Redshift.". |
|
A: |
We apologize for this problem, maybe the automated key generator failed. Please send us your IMEI that can be seen on the registration dialog, inside the game. We'll reply with a new regcode. The game uses the standard 6-2-6-1 IMEI format, for example 123456-12-123456-1. On some devices, from the operating system you can see a 2 digits longer IMEI. The game doesn't use that additional digits.

Q: |
I just bought Legacy. How do I get the manual? |
|
A: |
Sorry, we don't have an individual document which can be called as manual. However, I think the best is to read David Eaton's review: it's a kind of tutorial: Link to the David's review. It's for Palm, but the game is almost the same. A new tutorial could help you, too: Link to AustinTW's tutorial. Another thing: the game contains a Help, with important information (main menu). You may find more information on www.1src.com, Legacy forums. |

Q: |
If I reinstall Legacy on my device, will I lose the saved games? |
|
A: |
You won't! The installation will overwrite your old one, but this process never touches the saved games/downloaded maps! You shouldn't have a single problem after reinstalling the game. IMPORTANT! You have to install the game into the same memory (handheld/card)! Without this, you may can't see your saved games at once. |

Q: |
How can I backup my saved games from my device? |
|
A1: |
To make a backup on your device (to another folder): 1. Use the file manager to locate the Legacy installation directory. Probably it's C: or D: and system\apps\legacy. 2. Copy the LegacySaveX.pdb files to another directory, where X is 0-4. The 0. is the auto-saved game, while 1-4 are the slots. 3. Done! You can use the same method to restore from backup.
|
|
A2: |
To make a backup on your desktop computer: 1. Connect your desktop computer to your phone. 2. Locate the Legacy installation directory. Probably it's C: or D: and system\apps\legacy. 3. Download the LegacySaveX.pdb files, where X is 0-4. The 0. is the auto-saved game, while 1-4 are the slots. 4. Done! You can use the same method to restore from backup.

Q: |
I have several crashes on my Communicator while playing Legacy. What is the problem? |
|
A: |
The Communicator's execution memory (not the same as C:) is almost/almost not enough for Legacy. Because of this, you should have only 1 or limited number of additional worlds installed. Every of them needs a small but reasonable amount of execution memory. If you remove the additional worlds, except the one you currently play with, you may have better stability. |
