Legacy PC features

  • it's a standalone game, but the trial can be used to check how would the game look like on PDA

  • You can exchange your saved games between the PDA and PC versions! Our FAQ pages contain information how to do that.

  • Compatibility with all expansion packs - you need to simply copy the .pdb file of the exp pack into Legacy's directory

  • The registered version contains a free Official Expansion Pack - that mean more than 100 hours gameplay

  • Compatibility with Windows 98/Xp/2000

  • But the game can't support full-screen :(
     just the PDA resolutions from 320x208 to 480x320, and the Communicator's wide screen 640x200.

  • If you're a registered Revenge/Legend PDA user, then you don't need to purchase them again - simply copy the right pdb to Legacy PC directory.

  • An optional helper program is provided which will make the game run in fullscreen. (This is written by a fan and is provided as is, no guarantees. See the "readme.txt" file inside the zip on how to use.)
Compatibility/Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 98/XP/2000 with the usual service packs
  • 5-8 MB hard drive space (based on the expansion packs)
  • few megabytes memory (<10)
Installation

We have standard zipped, and .exe installer versions. If you like the standard way, simply extract the zip file to a new directory, and execute the "LegacyPC.exe" from there.
The Legacy installer version will work just like any other installable applications: creating directory, making Start Menu group and creating links.

With both cases, sometimes you will need to access the Legacy directory manually: exchanging saved games (if you have a PDA version), installing additional worlds.

Screenshots

You can check the PDA versions for the screen shots, because selecting a "view" using the PC version means the same result as playing on the right device.
